Spec list:
CPU: Intel i9 13900K
Motherboard: ASUS ROG z790-f
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 64GB 6000MHz
Storage: Samsung Evo 980 pro
PSU: Corsair RX1200x shift
AIO cooler: Corsair h150i
GPUs:
- Gigabyte WINDFORCE 4060ti 8gb
- EVGA FTW Ultra 3060ti 8gb
- MSI Mech AMD Radeon RX6600 8gb
So I managed to snag a 4060ti prebuilt (cpu, ram, SSD, mobo, a whole desktop) on Facebook marketplace for $200. After figuring out that the GPU was not faulty (this would be another long story), I decided to plug it in my main build to check that the GPU works fine. So I ran time spy on the card, and I got really underwhelming results.
Scores:
- 4060ti: 6094 / CPU: 12719
- RX6600: 8063 / CPU: 21671
- 3060ti: 12524 / CPU: 21548

The first culprit would be an unusual performance from the CPU, but why? Why did the CPU decide not to go all in?
Even if the CPU performed similarly, does the 4060ti perform worse than the 3060ti? And even the RX6600? Do EVGA FTW Ultra cards come overclocked already? Or is this a result from a faulty GPU? I need some insight, I’d appreciate any help
