4+4 split end goes into the motherboard and the CPU/EPS goes into the PSU and 6+2 pin eend goes into GPU and PCIE/VGA goes into the PSU

the end that says what it goes into is the end that goes into the hardware . the other end should be solid and not split, that goes into the psu

If I’m supposed to use all 8 pins on the 4x4 then it doesn’t work. One side on the 4x4 is all “U” shaped which doesn’t match the pcie end on the mobo. Am I only supposed to use 1 of the 4x4 pieces?
