No I got that I meant you aren't normally able to just.. Nvm not important. Your issue is your old Radeon drivers are conflicting with Nvidia and crashing them.
So you either need to a ddu the laptop. Or reinstall windows because it's at the registry level.
Kay then Google display driver Uninstaller..
And run it, you want to do all thsi in safe mode because you are using incredibly old software and it won't like not doing it safemode

Yes you want to ddu the amd drivers, honestly if just ddu then both and reinstall the Nvidia ones again to be safe.

im going to be very honest with you, i do not know of a laptop besides total desktop replacements, where you are allowed/can replace the gpu
apparently these laptops keep the same board layout as the newer generation so you can keep upgrading them
