#VGA Light problem.
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I've done that a bunch of times lol
cables plugged in propery, gpu screwed in properly etc etc?
etc
atleast 5 times
haha
Im using a Pcie cable with 2 ends
like 2 ends for a larger GPU that needs 2
dunno if that makes a difference
The VGA light is the only thing that happens
my screen still turns on
refer to your manual if thats the right cable to use
Manual for the GPU or the PSU
alr cool give me on min
one*
gotta find the boxes 😭
Well I couldn't find either manuals, but the cable im using is the only PCIe one that came with the PSU
you can probably find them online
yeah now that i have a look at it, tf are is that cable?
idk if thats the one you should use
unless it says gpu on it and im wrong
took at look at the ones online for that same gpu
if you are able to get into windows and play games on the pc, then you have nothing wrong with the gpu connections with the motherboard or the power cables
¯_(ツ)_/¯
their issue is likely all software related
either a clean install of windows or not installing some dumb software would probably solve their issues
@shy vapor well you heard the man, reinstall windows
I'm good 😭
No you aint
😦
also Idk if this is related, but when I go to reset the computer and hold shift then click reset and I try to reset it in safe mode, but when it resets nothing posts
i would do a reinstall of windows on a new drive and see what happens. worse that happens is you have to reinstall everything or it doesnt solve the issue and you just have more storage for games
