4 year old pc with:
AMD 2500x
gtx 1060 6gb
16gb ram
1 tb 2.5” SSD

I’ve been having trouble installing windows on my old computer. I reset it and I cannot get it to install windows correctly. I’ve tried the local install, onedrive install, and installing windows on a bootable usb. It all ends up with the same issue.

It goes from downloading windows to “just a moment” and freezes instantly. I’ve left it on for hours to attempt to get it to unfreeze, but it didn’t work.

I originally thought it was a storage issue, so I threw a new 2.5” ssd at it. Still the same issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try reformatting the flash drive and recreate the bootable usb

#

Also, are you trying to install Win 10?

Still the same issue 😫

It just froze on the just a moment screen again after I deleted the partitions and used a fresh usb install

how many sticks of ram are in there?

acoustic acorn

Just 2

Should I try to get it to boot with 1?

ocean flax
#

#
