Have an old WD drive that died when trying to back it up. It was weird. Was trying to move data from one drive to another, and it killed both drives. Not sure how. I was using the iMac at my community college years ago. One of the drives still spins up though, and I think, in theory, the data should still be in here, but it just can't be read via USB. Is there any way to see if I can recover the data? Could I bring it somewhere to see if it can be fixed?

What OS was on this old drive?
There was no OS. It was just an external used for storing my class work. It was formatted for Mac. I forget what I formatted it to since it's been a while. But it has old class work I'd like to put into my portfolio if I can recover it
