Cant open Driver Software.

Windows 11, 6900 XT.

Tried DDU/Updates/Reinstall.

Get error when clicking from file explorer or through start menu.

Was working 3 days ago.

i will switch to 4090 and never go back to AMD , feet.

have you tried doing a windows file corruption scan with sfc /scannow or DISM repair?

did you error check your drive?

are you certain your ram is stable and has no errors from a memory test?

xmp may not even work. the second setting may only work if it's slower or has looser timings. what was the ram?

hmmmm... i would run tm5 when you get home and make sure you close as many programs as you can that are running. then if that passes with 0 errors, try the windows repairs

run ram tester like memtest86 from usb drive or tm5 in windows with xmp enabled. try again with xmp disabled if it fails when enabled

Lol restart PC..any problem with radeon software itself when installed properly can be fixed with a restart

You're trying to use the shortcut...tried opening the actual application in file explorer or search?

See if it's an issue with the shortcut or the program - if it persists - definitely uninstall as mentioned - then use the same AMD driver package you used for your driver - do software install only - or can do the full* install again ig

The amd driver version was from December so it was def working for a while, dont recall what recent windows update just happened
