I5 2500s

In the future i7 3770

If I can get my gpu to work with it

i would try the bios update first if you are comfortable attempting that. otherwise, you might be able to get a cheap motherboard and i7 3770k combo

i personally wouldnt get anything less thana 3770k because it will boost to a higher speed than a regular 3770 or 3770s

if you dont have a good cooler, the 3770s (s on the end) will probably end up being your best option because overheating will throttle the cpu and negate any chance of boosting to it's max on all cores
