I just swapped my computers case, psu, and CPU cooler out and when I'm turning on my pc I'm getting no display and it has a orange light on the motherboard (Asus prime b660) it worked fine before but I did have this issue when I put in my new CPU a month ago but all I had to do was clear cmos and it was fine, I tried clearing cmos now and still no display. My bios was updated before I went to 13th gen and my specs are 13600k, 16gb ddr4 3200mhz, asus b660, thermaltake tough power gf1 850w, and temporary gtx 1060, 500gb WD blue sn550

so you upgraded some parts?
Yes but now I can't even get into bios
Also got some cable extensions
ok
cpu cable is in right? and the 24pin ?
i guess i should've asked first.. what is the orange light is under? cpu dram or boot
All the cables were in all the way
I didn't see
mind sending a picture of the light?
Should I plug the cable extensions back in or still try without them
try without them
Ok I'll send a picture of the light after I get them all unplugged
just the regular cables
I swapped them all and the orange light is still there + no boot
Yeah I didn't touch them when I swapped all the parts
I'm pushing down on the ram rn and it's going down a little bit
and yeah I swapped the cooler
??? it’s just a click and that’s it
Pretty sure it was clicked in already but wasn't pushed down all the way
It booted
Wtf
could the ram come loose with me just taking out the motherboard? I never touched it when I was swapping parts
idk man but loose ram can cause that
maybe it wasn’t fully seated to begin with
Idk but I'm glad nothing was broken
@final crow I'm getting this now and I'm guessing it's because my cooler is plugged into my fan hub but I can't find how to set it to ignore in bios like it says
where did you plug the cpu fan?
oh nvm
you need to move that
to the cpu fan header on the cpu
I have it plugged into the CPU fan plug in the fan hub
I thought you could do that?
I set it to ignore and it's fine now
Ok I'll take the CPU fan off the fan hub
cpu fan header should be just for the cpu
I had my fan hub plugged into a normal fan header (not the CPU fan header) then there's a CPU fan header on the fan hub
oh i’m not too familiar with it i’ve only ever used the fan header on the motherboard for the cpu fan
I just like to be able to hide the cables lol
