CHONK
Not to alarm you but there seems to be a yacht in your pc. The dry dock aesthetic has a nice appeal though :P.
For real though, that looks really good and must be a real powerhouse.
Looks good but what cable extensions are those? They look like they are 18 Gauge which is pretty thin. I don't like using less than 16 and if it's a third party for the 12vHPWR the cheap ones don't usually have ground pins which is sketch.
That dark glass males your GPU RGB look like a smiley face
There's esquisicat watching you. For real, this zotac looks good. Well done...
posting a picture because im not sure about link permissions
have had no issues so far thankfully, saw a similar reception in a reddit thread about these 12vhpwr cables
Never heard of that brand and that is definitely 18 Gauge
That's just sketch. For a GPU that costs that much I would pay 60 for the cable mod cable
Seems like someone taking advantage. Not the first time
im not too concerned about it personally, from what i understand as long as it isn't bent in a moronic way there isn't an issue. i do agree it does look sketch, but its what we had on hand. time will tell i suppose
Just wouldn't trust that much wattage through those cables. Cable mod is more expensive but quality and you can choose your colors
from a quick look at the website cablemod cables are rated for 600 watts. sybechatf cable says the same rating, but whether or not they're actually the same is obviously up in the air and would need to be professionally tested otherwise. ive benched fine, and it doesnt look like it cant withstand heavy load, so who knows. worst case scenario i get another 😜
Worst case scenario is a fire and your card goes buy buy or a short at least.
Maybe they just look skinnier because of the way you split the up. Idk..Your card and your money.
I just remember a cable for my 3090 that didn't have ground pins so it became a fire hazard.
It says 16awg, so 16 gauge.
It can say whatever it wants. You think companies don't lie? Haha
for fun, how about we agree upon a set amount of time you think this cable has. on or any time before then ill post an update about it here. if you’re right about it being a sham then ill post the failure of the cable in all of its glory. would you say a good test of time is 6 months? a year?
Seems ok to me.
Although I'll just go with a ATX 3.0 PSU to be safe all around.
@crimson crane I don't see any Ground pin designations on that schematic.
