#juno's blob Ai explanation

dont play juno but this is nifty 👀 thanks for putting it together
neat info. I find it odd that specifically aimi's app doesn't have blobbo pathblocking in the center, when taiko and NM are considered. Would be curious about clarion corp/inky's
How old is this info?
Aimi's hole might not be the same id object as a "rebound" wall.
Info is from this update (we made those tests 3~ weeks ago)
inky's should be like Athen/DD, we didn't test on clarion because : 1st - shit map. 2nd - not in actual pool
tbh, you can easily deduct how clarion would work from these examples
except for the barrier focus, which needs to be tested to determine which barrier would be focused first, or, like atlas's lab, if it depends of vertical position (When map has 2 barriers)
Great now I can flame my goalie for not knowing Juno blobbo AI
nice that you say this, because we made that for someone complaining about this Ai lol
clairon also has a lot of terrain that appears/disappears so im curious how blobs handle that
they probably dont lol
here you go. I tested alone, so i can't tell which of my barriers are focused first, you only have the ennemy barrier focus
So obstacles are handled properly even with them being temporary constructs, making aimi's the only map where blobbos are blind af
interesting
I play Juno.... this makes so much sense
a good chunk of the time im probably not going to let the blobbo ai do the aiming but its really good to know about avoiding deadzones and angles the blobbos can take
aimi's thing is not an obstacle really but a hole, so it kinda make sense blobbos can see through it
And shoot right at it lul
@tacit bough Best of luck on your Juno journey. Feel free to DM if you ever want advice. Just wanted to ping you, this type of info isn't something you'd just naturally know. Most of the rest is more intuitive and can be figured out more easily.
got it!
@tawny marten
oh goodie reading for the dyslexic yay!
