Y’know I often wonder how Kai first felt running with Eras speed boost. he’s already fast but we know even with his skills he failed to defeat Estelle and seriously struggled in the rookie leagues

Honestly I agree, Now that he has the crown if he falls he’ll fall that much harder. We know Estelle came back after she lost her crown, but could Kai? He’s probably insanely paranoid about losing. Imagine Juliette very similar to him, but when he was a rookie he failed to beat Estelle, if Juliette whose also a rookie manages to defeat him. It’ll show the whole world that he was weaker than Estelle as a Champion and everyone would look down on him.

I think even as champion he still compares himself to Estelle when she was champion

I think he tries really hard to emulate that self confidence Estelle had as champion.
