I'd say this is actually the most precise in-between we have between a "Thumbs up" and a "Boasting" emote.

so in the case you have only one slot left in a loadout to fill both of these concepts, you have the best piece here

Very versatile, yet maybe a bit too much as weird as it may seem.

Thing is, it can be used everywhere, so much that it doesn't have clear meaning or communication purpose.

So it's good, but it's a bit jack of all trades, master of none.

Though if you enjoy using it, by all means do so. the real S tier emotes are the ones you enjoy using.

I never found any interesting emote for that unfortunately. You're always at risk that your teammates interpret the following emote as an addition to the callout rather than a cancel.

Ive been running this and i feel its pretty good, i think there might be something better for 4 and 5 and wanted to hear your thoughts

1: affirmative from callouts, good response to juli heart, complementing a play
2: Saluting good plays or whenever there is a big KO that happens
3: For when teamate is spamming help/other callout or the enemy team does something stupid and i need to tilt them
4: For when I mess up or get Ko'd
5: For when I make a cool play

I think its pretty good becasue most emotes have multiple uses, there are no duplicate strikers and a mix of Beta and season1 emotes. The only problem is 4 and 5 only do 1 thing and i know there are better alternatives i just dont know what will fit there better

4 can easily be replaced with a shocked Aimi or that new "for real?" estelle emote.
They cover the same things (mess ups or being Koed) while also covering weird situations like unexpected goals or whacky plays.

5 can also be used to give credit to a good pass or acknowledging a nice play by an opponent. I quite like EZ juliette, but your Thumbs up luna pretty much covers almost the same as EZJuliette.

This means you have 3 options to congratulate nice plays. I'd replace that Ez juilette with a big heart juliette.
I know it's quite overused, but for a reason. It is kind of a staple to remind everyone we're all playing together and having fun.

This way, you still keep the "no duplicate strikers", and you still have emotes from several seasons.

Folks I am struggling
I want to run a Rasmus-centric emote loadout but all of his emotes feel like the antithesis of what I stand for as a player (I like being as positive as possible)
So far I have this setup for the following:

1. Round start/Goal/Response to Octavia Cheers
2. Personal Messups/Response to BM
3. Affirmative Response to Callouts/General "Good Job!" to teammates
4. Teammate Messups/Enemy DC/Enemy Messups
5. Particularly Good Plays/Exciting Moments

But it feels like Rasmus' emotes don't really have the coverage I need

I'm having a hard time deciding between things. I think I must reduce the amount of "feeling myself" emotes

2/4 feel redundant but luna's grin makes it so stupid looking and funny that I LOVE IT. But X has more of the vibes and it's animated when I do something great

5 sometimes is redundant with 1, but when teammates mad, sometimes 5 conveys the right energy more than just tryign to "be nice"

4 is great when I'm playing super hot but it does seem redundant with whatever slot 2 is, luna or X

free is great and probably will help tilt enemy team

3 is most versatile here, but it's kinda dull. 3 slot i try to use for "WOW or that just happened or to comment on somebody's dummy mistake"
