Oh totally! Ai.Mi’s pretty smart so I think she can pick up stuff relatively quickly, but it definitely takes a learning curve. Stuff like organizing and housekeeping I think would be something that she struggles with at first but gets good at with some practice.

Some more abstract things like cooking or drawing might be a bit of a lost cause though.

I’ve probably mentioned it before, but I think part of the two of them noticing eachother off the street, and rooming together so early in knowing eachother comes from a bit of mutual love at first sight. Neither of them quite process or realize that’s what it is at the time, but it’s something they both slowly figure out and admit to themselves as time passes. I don’t know if one would progress faster than the other in that realization or not, but the one Datablade fic I wrote was built partially on that premise.

Especially early in their friendship where their opposite natures tend to find clashing points, and they’re both thinking along the lines of “why did I ever bother with this?” While simultaneously admiring qualities about the other.

The core of it essentially boiling down to even when they were at points where they thought the absolute worst of eachother they still couldn’t stop thinking about eachother

im gonna be honest, writing a essay for this is taking a lot energy but i'll do a quick tldr;

• One of the love languages Ai.Mi and Zentaro that they both share is quality time. I think they're the type that prefer being near each other most of the time. Like they can handle being alone without the other but, I do think they do sometimes accidentally think about the other unintentionally. Like Ai.Mi seeing some manga and thinking like "Oh. it's that new manga that Zen always talk about. " Or like Zentaro going across a sushi place and thinking, "maybe I should get Ai.Mi some sushi, she's been working hard."

• I think physical affection is a must for Ai.Mi. She's* touch starved* because digital bullshit. Before they officially start dating, I think she always try to hold Zentaro's hand but she gets flustered and stops herself. I think Zentaro has hug her before and like show physical affection (headpats) before. Like I do they cuddle before on the couch or one of their beds, watching shows and stuff. I think he stops for a bit because he's like "ah, I don't want to make her uncomfortable". But she's like NOOOO!! I WANNA HUG AND CUDDLE MORE . I think when she gets jealous, she becomes little more touchy and clingy. She like hugs Zentaro's arm or like holding his hand. Once they offically become a thing, she doesn't like asking for affection. But I think Zentaro feels more comfortable giving her affection because hes like knows 100% she's okay with it. Like there are times she initiate the physical affection like cuddling him like a cat,,,

• I don't think physical affection is a must for Zentaro. He's fine without it, but he likes giving his partner the attention she deserves. He would shyly admit this to Finii or Mako, that Ai.Mi is his reason at being at Ahten City. (LIKE THINK ABOUT IT, IF AIMI HADNT BEEN LIKE "BITCH GET IN MY TEAM. " WOULD HE EVEN BE AT AHTEN CITY??? LIKE I THINK HE WOULD KEEP BE WANDERING AROUND THE WORLD) He's not very talkative despite Ai.Mi being able to read him like a book. He likes headpatting, cuddling with her. It makes him feel needed,, He would fucking exploded if he had to kiss her though thats something she had to do/initiate 💀 💀💀. he would be fumbling so hard if he had to kiss her because hes like ahh,, shes so pretty,, i dont deserve her.

• Words of affirmation,, I don't think Ai.Mi needs it constantly. But it does make her flustered and fumble a bit when Zentaro says "you're special to me." or or "you make me so happy." Shes likes it when it's not like too much of affirmation, if theres too much, then it feels fake for her. But Zentaro does the right amount. Zentaro dropping the "in my eyes, you're human as anyone else", "you're more human to me than you realize." IT WOULD GET HER QUIET AND FLUSTERED SO HARD. like aahhh, she would be repeating those words until she gets home and falls over in her bed,, kicking her legs thinking about him and his stupid poetic smooth words. shes hates him that he can cut through her with that.

• I think it's a must for Zentaro. Because Zentaro sees himself as the problem and willingly to leave if needed. I think he's also self-sacrificing like he would do anything for his friends and such. While Zentaro does gentle and more poetic words of affirmation,,, Ai.Mi is the opposite of it and he *loves *it. Her words of affirmation are more blunt and sometimes with hint of reluctance?? Like she would tell him stuff like "I guess, you're not that bad..", "you're doing pretty great, don't mess it up.", "you're doing well. I'm not repeating myself again though." I think he likes this because he likes the hidden sincerity behind her words and it feels earned. Also, I think he does enjoy her reactions, thinking its cute. It pushes himself to do better to see what she would say next and her reactions. I also think Ai.Mi is his personal cheerleader, being blunt and all.. 1/?

• Ai.mi being his personal cheerleader by saying stuff like "you're not just gonna take that, are you?", "you're stronger than this." Like Ai.Mi would encourage him to beat up people who are mean 💀 but hes more likely gonna stand up for himself instead of walking away like he usually does. He prefers no conflict but, I think he deserves to stand up for himself once awhile.

• I don't have a lot on Ai.Mi on gift-giving. I don't think it's a must or requirement, just give her food and she'll be happy. Zentaro on gift-giving is something I have more on. So I'll just talk about him.

• I think Zentaro appericates gift-giving,, like he doesn't talk about himself a lot. I like to think when he yaps, he can yap about his interests. Ai.Mi seems disinterested but asks questions once a while. Ai.Mi would probably buy a manga for him, a figure or something he likes for him. I think she does listen to him because he's cute when he talks and hes mysterious to her. Like she want to dissect his half oni brain and learn more about him, whats his interest,, why he likes manga and anime. I think he also like giving gifts to his friends, he likes to listen to them and their interests. He would be the type to be like, "ah I got this because it reminded me of you." He doesn't expect gifts back, but when he does recieve a gift,,, he will treasure it. Like if Ai.mi buys him a figure of some character he likes, you would see it on his desk or etc etc.

• I think Ai.mi does act of kindness but in a roundabout way ? She would do a check up text on Zentaro. Like "hey u good? i was bored" energy, doing small favors, inviting him to hangout with her, helping without any acknowledgement. She DOES care about Zentaro, more than she would ever admit. But she doesn't do that emotional vulnerability !!! Zentaro realizes shes is kind but does it in a different way than the typical way people think of. I think he gets that about her and loves/appreciates that.

• Zentaro is the definition of act of kindness, HIS PARENTS RAISED HIM TO BE A GENTLEMAN 👏 👏 👏 . He cares about the people hes close to,, will do anything blah blah. I don't know if he's a people-pleaser? I don't think so, he values the people he has right now,, because they aint racist. I think Ai.mi has to step in and be like "they're using you" when people use his kindness too much.
