If by ask you mean pinging the rp role that wouldn't be a good idea. With the mass amount of people that may have it it would most likely become an annoyance at that point. Some may only have the role to read the stories created not to participate. I see no harm in pinging those in the already within the channel to ask.

I literally did up here.
They won't add more roles so the only role that would be pinged is the rp role. Not only are you mass pinging a lot of the server your also pinging mods. It would become an annoyance when alot of people use the channel.
It's a waste of time because you can simply pung people who were in the role play channel and ask then if they want to rp.
You're suggestion is pointless and a future annoyance.
If you can't understand that then someone else will have to explain it to you.
