Hi There.
Please watch the video first.

This is a comparison video of the interaction between the Nanite On mesh and the Nanite Off mesh.
The mesh and foliage in the video have exactly the same settings. The only difference is checking the Disallow Nanite option on the mesh.

With Nanite On, nothing is drawn on the RT texture. So no interaction occurs
When Nanite is turned off, RT texture is drawn. So the interaction occurs as intended.

Please tell me how to get RT textures to be drawn on a mesh or landscape with Nanite enabled.

Hey hey!! So sorry for the late reply.

Currently there's no easy way to get Nanite meshes to draw to the RVT - I have a feeling they will add this functionality in the next engine versions as they keep improving Nanite.

I'm pretty sure Nanite Landscapes CAN draw to RVTs so the system should work in most areas (keep in mind the Test Level is just using a Cube instead of a Landscape)

If there are any areas that need interaction that aren't directly on the Landscape (a house, platform, cliff etc) the best way at the moment would be to have a simple non-Nanite meshes to create a fake floor, and set their "Draw in Main Pass -> Never" and have their collision set to None
