I am trying to attach a weapon to my character. The weapon mesh is a child of the defaultsceneroot, and the character mesh is the child of a capsule collider. I am attempting to attach the weapon at the right hand socket of my character mesh. The weapon does attach, but is far away from the player and doesn't look like it is attached to the correct socket at all. This is my blueprint...

Change Location and Rotation Rule to Snap to Target
if the rotation is off, then you'll have to rotate the socket inside your skeleton until it's correct
I don't think so, it looks like it is attaching to my character but not to the skeletal mesh socket
oh wait, you want to use Attach Actor To Component instead
then give it the player's mesh
