Who is interested in playing FWC event server this year?

🔴 - Not currently planning on participating this year at all. Staying on Main Server.

🟡 - Might Participate, somewhat interested.

🟢 - Committed to playing from Day 1 all the way until the event server ends.

Many of us lately have felt disappointed and unheard as a playerbase, and we've voiced concerns many times here and in ** Suggestions ** to what appears to be deaf ears. Still, many players thrive during the fwc event servers, as it's a good opportunity to reach high levels. So this post is a way to help gauge the amount of interest as it stands currently.

Even those who feel disengaged are hoping to see positive changes in the game experience. I would like to see us players listened to more, especially regarding our Suggestions for necessary improvements to the 3rd job skills. Until I see significant improvement by this game's management, I do not plan on participating in FWC. Perhaps there are others who feel the same, but the event server still does represent a great opportunity.

I'll play but i'm a little disapointed with some changes. the Positionbug is still there, with no indication that this will ever change. you can have 8 chars and see in every window that they're in a different position in each case. jumps don't fix it, stones will let you rubberbanding etc....

Now this is the opportunity of the community to show GALA how much we want to see changes on the direction they're running the game. Those who genuinely wants to see changes you know what not to do keksip

Not interested 10000%.

Several different reason. It took 1 month before a GM replied / acknowledged a bug report about rubber banding/ pos lagging. It took 3 months before a dev replied/acknowledged it and it wasn't because they looked at the thread. It's because they replied to fixing another bug and they were linked the thread. I don't blame either of them, they're employees for the company. Who knows what the company has them doing.

As part of the winning Colosseum event last year, half of my team hasn't even gotten their titles. They've submitted tickets several times and the answer is the same. Tried reporting it via bug-reports. Got told to submit tickets. wtfcat . From my understanding several of the PvPers also didn't receive their titles.

There's 3 whole sections in this discord about changes/improvements for the game. Most of which looks like we're talking to a wall.

For whatever reason we can't ever get an answer to anything. It's being discussed internally. It's fine, I think most of us at this point have clocked out

Im excited about FWC but only because its my first time playing it, i am however concerned about the future of flyff universe after seeing the communities opinion of the devs, seems like development is taking a downwards hill, doesnt make me feel like id like to invest any money in this server when seeing the lack of fixes, communication etc from devs, ill definitely play it day 1, but how long i cant say

We all know this: FWC gives them an excuse to put in zero effort for another six months while still making a lot of money. But with the current state of the game, that’s the exact opposite of what it needs. The game is in such a bad state right now, there’s simply nothing to do. There should have already been another update expanding the endgame, adding more activities and items to grind for.

The PvE tournament is the worst tournament I’ve ever seen. It’s literally just “who are the biggest Blade (Slayer now) whales, and let’s group them together.” There’s no skill or strategy involved, which is exactly what a PvE tournament should be about. It was even worse last year because RNG played a role as well (CW stomp, for example). On top of that, the rewards are a joke compared to the PvP tournament.

The PvP tournament qualifiers are a joke too. There were so many ways to gain an unfair advantage, and it looks like none of it is going to be fixed.

It's simple: those who have already benefited from the FWC aren't interested in participating again, but new players are. It's an advantage for those who have already progressed and for those who want to try new classes. I don't see what the problem is; we need to stop being selfish. If you don't like the FWC, you can stay on your server.

They can put all these multipliers on the main servers and just keep the FWC server for the tournaments. But instead they want everyone to start over again and the items u get are Account-Linked. Who wants to make a weapon that might cost 1k+ euro and u can't even trade it in the end... Don't forget they upgraded +5 jewels and weapons on main server to +7 for free which costs billions otherwise. What if they do this again? On top of that FWC last way to long, its an excuse to not put any effort in the game for months...

I'm torn as a recently rejoined player. FWC does sound like a great way to make gains since i'm only ~2mo into my FlyFF U journey. I've also been told running multiple chars through to 120 is a huge gain as a f2p player due to the amount of smelting boxes, increased success rate in FWC, etc.

... but the entire premise behind FWC sort of sucks. A huge "tourney" they expect everyone to whale for (I've read stories of the FC prices for early FWC day drops) while they ultimately kill the permanent servers for up to 6 months.

I love the idea of a catch-up season or something, but it can all be implemented in main servers. Hell, what I think would probably satisfy more of the player base is to do some "transitional" piece where you could something like the following:

  1. Create global "FWC" server
  2. Let people start fresh and gain the full benefits
  3. Let people have a mirror image of their current players in FWC but with no gear (i.e. my 101 BRM will be a 101 BRM in FWC with a blank inventory)
  4. Scale down these mirror image benefits (not 2x drop/exp rate... but maybe where a 190 gets 1.2x rates or something)
    Obviously a ton of kinks to work out, etc. but it almost seems like there's no point of a main server except to showcase what you did in FWC xyz while you wait for the next one.

Like as a relatively nooby player, my decision is "Do I just straight up restart and my last 2 mo of playing has been basically worthless since I'll spend 6months in this void called FWC and end up with higher chars/gear that'll get xfered back to Mush?" or "Do I still enjoy my BRM on Mush and explore other clases in FWC or just slow push to 120 on 8 chars for my Smelt Boxes to bring back an account-linked set for one class? In which case my FWC RM will still probably end up higher than my BRM due to rates." This is not even accounting for how dead the Mush (or other main) server playerbase will be.

Both are terrible choices as a player that's been in it for a couple months now.

Turning flyff into a seasonal game with FWC has to be the worst decision for the playerbase. It clearly has tons of benefits for gala. But it will destroy the game in the long run. Have the tournament be held on a tournament realm where you can copy your main server character and call it a day

what's funny is that you can have 90% votes on red circles but it's still going to be the biggest fwc yet. everybody is going to +10 their ulti jewels

I've said this before it should be the opposite way, transfer your characters from main server INTO the fwc server (with some restrictions like not bringing penya so the fwc server can have its own economy) and use the time to catch up on levels or drops. Then have a PvE/pvp event with all these characters from all those servers. Then transfer back at the end. Easy, doesn't kill your main server progress, people can still grind inside fwc server from scratch if they want

I'm going to get a char to 80 because I have a char name I want to use. I may try to farm stuff with that character to get some late game stuff too. Other than that, I'm never participating harcore in this crap again. Ever.

The remaining headcount of players (in normal server) will soon die during fwc.. and they don't care at all..

Im only playing it a bit because my brother are coming back to Flyff in a long time and we just want to experience that moment when everyone is a vagrant. Thats about it, I feel really bad leaving my blade lvl 150 in Mushpoie. Thats why I dont plan on playing it all...
