Summary: It seems that the ATK % on the Maw of Judgement isn't being calculated correctly.

Server: Totemia
Character: Flo
Position: N/A
Visual Proof: Image Attached (Difference between FoT and MoJ)

Expected Result: Have higher ATK when wearing the maw, as it has more atk than the FoT.

Actual Result: Have less ATK with Maw of Judgement.

Additional Comments: FoT has 812~815 atk, MoJ has 876~879 atk. Not sure if it's happening with any other ankou weapons, but def want this fixed as it feels bad to drop that much penya on a new weapon and the old one is better.

There's something else causing your difference it isn't the knuckles, can't replicate this. Can we see the stats on both knuckles?

That 0.8% difference in increased attack + the STR+3 probably does it

#

There isn't a bug with the base attack it's just the different bonuses

this FoT also had more attack than the Maw (we can only reply every 15 min lol)

Which is likely correct due to the gem and str

Yeah it's just the bonus differences

#

if you equip 2 clean knuckles the maw is higher

You could remove those gems and test. If its not that, maybe the % attack value isnt factored in correctly since the decimal change. But people would have noticed it quite likely.
I can remember a very similiar discussion about a +5 Fist of Tides and a Crystal knuckle a year back. Where the FoT ended up having more attack as it was +5 even though displayed weapon attack damage was lower than the crystal knuckle

+3 ultimate weapon has +33% weapon ATK due to it's upgrade. +5 ultimate weapon has +39% weapon ATK. This percentage affects other ATK sources if I am not mistaken.

Yeah that was exactly the post I was referring to

To add something to that discussion, by removing adept demols+0 my ATK with staff +2 goes from 5279 to 3455 [-1824]

On staff +5 it goes from 5686 to 3736 [-1950]

So clearly upgrade level affects also additional damage from demols.

Weapon upgrades do indeed multiply all your auto attack damage. And multiplies it independently from % attack. So it doesn't matter how much %attack you already have.

With a champion, set a high level character will deal more damage with a wooden sword +10 than with a clean level 170 sword. Weapon upgrades are just that important for auto attackers.

That's why those level 175 weapons that can't be made ultimate will all lose hard to Corals, even if the Corals have trash awakening stats.

also during my testing time, 8% PVE scales at a extreme parameter, think it of a scaling of % bonus salary at your yearly income and not a bonus based on a monthly salary,

Therefore you need to reroll the new weapon to have atleast 8% PVE damage, to see atleast a minimum +10% more DPS

As of rn you see there is such a small difference, because new base weapon atk is making up for not having 8% PVE Damage
