As it stands now, regular amethysts have ZERO value. None. None at all. You might think "hey, those are used for crafting Coral Weapons right?" But no. Not really. Why? Because their success chance is literally 1/100,000 to craft. There have not been that many amethysts in all servers combined since Coral has been released. (At least I highly doubt it)
The release of the shining amethysts as a drop in dungeons was a nod to the fact that this crafting chance was broken, but rather than fix the rates and allow these weapons to be craft-able with regular amethysts, the answer was to create a new item. This renders the regular ones obsolete and utterly worthless.
I propose there be a way to take some of these amethysts and craft them into shining amethysts. It could be similar to the situation with 7% cards and E-protects, I don't care. But they shouldn't be a worthless item in the game. The regular amethysts should hold some value.
Additionally, this has been suggested already. I am re-submitting the idea.
