I’d like to suggest an improvement that would greatly enhance the gameplay experience, especially for mobile players:
Please implement a proper tab-targeting system or improve the existing auto-target button so it can reliably select nearby enemies without requiring close proximity.
📱Mobile-specific issue:
Currently, the auto-target button on mobile only works when you’re extremely close to a monster – often nearly touching it. This creates a frustrating experience because:
You have to tap each mob manually, which is hard on smaller screens.
It’s easy to misclick or miss mobs entirely, especially in crowded areas.
It's inefficient for AOE classes that need to quickly grab multiple enemies.
The current auto-target is nearly unusable in real combat situations.
💻Even PC players struggle:
While the issue is worse on mobile, PC players also lack a true “tab to target next enemy” option, making combat feel clunky and outdated in high-action zones.
🤖About potential bot abuse:
A possible concern might be botting. But:
Bots already bypass current systems using external tools.
Improving the targeting system would help real players far more than it would enable bots.
You could include limitations like line-of-sight, range caps, or require being in combat mode to minimize abuse.
Other MMOs have had success offering tab-targeting while still managing bot risks.
✅ Potential implementation ideas:
A “next target” button (on mobile and PC) that selects the closest valid monster.
Optional setting: “Enable smart targeting” or “Increase auto-target range.”
Allow target cycling via keybind or onscreen button.
