#Placing a tradeable rune/jewel into an Account-Linked weapon shouldn't make it AL upon removal

I reported this as a bug but it was confirmed as an intended feature by devs. This completely disincentivizes people from farming and buying them because they have zero resell value for the majority of the competitive playerbase.

If it isn't fixed, at the very least there should be a popup informing the user so they clearly know the tradeable rune, costing 10s of billions of penya, will be Account Linked upon placing into an Account Linked weapon.

Re: a post by Ket:
Q: What's the logic behind the Rune/Gem removal process?
A: The Gem/Rune inherits from the weapon status it was removed from.

Q: Does skins affect this logic, as they temporarily account-link an item?
A: No, only the status of the item prior to adding a skin on it matters (ex: If item was SL, or if it was tradeable)

Q: Does a Scroll of Reduction affect this logic?
A: No, only the status of the item prior to applying a Scroll of Reduction matters (same as adding a skin to it)

Below are all the scenarios, for awareness:

Non-SL weapon + Non-SL Rune/Jewel = Non-SL Weapon
Removal of Rune/Jewel  = Non-SL Weapon; Non-SL Rune/Jewel

Non-SL weapon + SL Rune/Jewel  = Non-SL weapon
Removal of Rune/Jewel  =  Non-SL Weapon; Non-SL Rune/Jewel

SL weapon + Non-SL Rune/Jewel  = SL Weapon
Removal of Rune/Jewel = SL Weapon; SL Rune/Jewel

SL weapon + SL Rune/Jewel = SL Weapon
Removal of Rune/Jewel = SL Weapon; SL Rune/Jewel

# dusky dew it doesn't, once it becomes AL/SL it remains AL/SL wherever you put it.

wrong
if you put it in a tradeable weapon it'll be tradeable upon removal with tweezers.
@tulip pebble you were correct

@sharp widget
seems intentional according to ket.
technically speaking when you insert a jewel to a weapon, the jewel loses all its item information including whether it was account/soul linked, and upon removal it inherits the weapon's flags (modifiers).
