Edit: Added Average score to Knight wilds + 2H Weapon combinations

Please keep in mind that these are the BEST Tries out of many. The average Damage might differ alot!

To give a small example: The Leviathan only went up ONCE out of 12 tries to over 500k dps, however that one time was indeed the best try so i took it.

Knight Swordcross rng might have some influence in all of Knights Tests.

the Abyss was very consistently over 500k while the Leviathan was only once. Id still say the Axe is way better here

Not to discredit your hard work here but doesn't that prove that this way of testing is kind of flawed? Taking the best of 12 attempts means that these numbers represent the outliers rather than the expected damage.

And if the Leviathan and Abyss both had 519k on their best test, but the Abyss broke 500k many times while the Leviathan only broke 500k on that run, then that means that the Abyss' 519k is just 'above average' while the Leviathan's 519k is a true statistical outlier.

this is just because every dps test in the past took the highest dps and never average dps. In order to have the best comparison i did the same. Knight is also the only class that had so much rng involved with Swordcross. I limited to 3 -5 tests for other weapons but went with 12 tests for Knight weapons

But don't you aggree that that's a flawed take then, especially for the Knight weapons? Swordcross triggers random - and the more takes you do, the higher the cance that an outlier appears. Not taking the average is sorta missleading here

It's pretty wild how the first 3 had their maximum roughly 12-15k from the average while the Leviathan had the maximum almost 40k above the average while also having the lowest average damage. It must be quite rare to get that lucky in one of these tests.

Most Weapons used in this are using PvE Damage and increased Attack. A few also have increased critical Damage. I believe these 3 to be the best ones in terms of raw Damage for Blade and Knight

we have most of the important results already, so there's no good reason to take time for him to do it again.

For Knights, your dps in a PvE set will always be kind of bad. We lose a lot more from not having our crit set on than Blades do.

unfortunately all my equipment got wiped and it is kinda hard to recreate everything to the same level.

I was debating weather i do a updated version with the new runes but decided against it as it basically only gives a 10% damage boost and a little bit extra which is very predictable in the outcome. I am sorry that i couldn't provide a nice version of all Blade and Knight versions on PvE set I hope the few i did before the weapons got wiped can give you a general idea of how strong it is and you can maybe guess how it changes by looking at the weapon differences on Wilds sets for all the weapons.

Knights are made of paper in these setups though. It's actually Rangers who are the tankiest in their damage setup due to their block and parry. And Blades and Rangers are the best off-tanks because they don't lose a lot of damage from switching to their tank sets. Knights have the highest potential when it comes to being a tank but their damage suffer a lot more from actually investing in being tanky.

You maybe be right on ranger being a tanky because of their parry and block but it doesnt mean that, having a full dex build can tank 40-50 mobs, even if you have 2 fsrm healing you, do you know what i mean.

Yes but Knights do as well so that comparison doesn't track. Knights have no inherent extra defenses with the builds tested in this thread. Their slightly higher HP and Def is mostly canceled out by the Rage buff. They certainly can't tank 40 monsters. For a Knight to tank 50 mobs they need to run a build that deals very little damage.

The more ICD you already have, the less effective more ICD gets relatively speaking. But that's essentially the same for every value

less relative damage for each additional ICD. If you get an additional 50k dmg at 300k dps that's a huge buff. if you get 50k at 1 mil dps, that's way less in percents

That setup should have like 20% more icd, because the sword has more icd and it uses 10x Thorn A while 2x Naut had 5x Thorn A 5x Wind A.
