#Poison stacks *New bug format*

Summary: - Poison stacks (up to lvl5) apply huge amounts of damage, and that damage gets re-applied faster than you can outheal it.

Server: - Totemia, but applies to all.
Character: - MoonlightSonata2.
Position: - Leren dungeon, Rhysis dungeon, Wilds Dungeon, Any monster/spell that applies the poison debuff (environmental / monster related)

Expected result: Poison to apply as a DoT effect, Not exploding half of your HP.

Actual Result: Monsters apply big stacks of poison, with each level instantly hitting your health points directly, instead of 1 hit and a damage of time effect, causing characters (that are not 60-80K health) to wipe nearly instant.

Additional comments:

How is poison so lethal in game? (all poison jokes aside)
This "bug" (?) has been around since the dungeon adjustments, to prevent low levels farming lvl 60 dungeons.
I get that, running dungeons like that was not its intended use, or balanced.

What i don't get is how that same debuff is able to hit 7k damage through 76% block rate, or downing a full STA tank in mere seconds without fully geared 200% DCT RM's. This results into full party wipes on multiple occasions, and makes the experience less enjoyable altogether.

Even worse is that that crazy number reapplies each time poison stacks. Isn't it supposed to be a DOT that applies the effect that healing is reduced? Now each time a stack hits you, you either get wiped off the map or get killed with whatever remaining HP you have left. (Yes i'm looking at you Twinstrike Cobra) Even when testing on other monsters, Boo's, Greemongs, compared to any other monster, the damage scales aren't comparable.

Spamming Antidotes or Gvur isn't exactly an option either, since it just re-stacks to quickly anyway.

Blukie already commented on a similar post a few months back. But here we are. Not meaning to hate, just spreading awareness.

Is it the problem with hard chasm spider boss as well? I noticed its poison is so hard, that I need to constantly use my tank eq to tank it, and I have to spam gvur a lot to survive. The mid spider boss is harder than Kraken and Grrr with this poison nonsense, which is just crazy unbalanced.

It's is because it isn't following the bug report template https://discord.com/channels/778915844070834186/1076242659024322690, if you edit it they'll likely remove the tag
And for the Spider mini-boss, it's two bugs in one: each time the poison is applied you get a big (possibly magic) hit and since it does several smaller zones that each can apply poison it can deal a big burst of damage (on top of the regular hit damage).
And the second bug (or maybe feature) the poison is applied even if you dodge the small zones so it can also hit you very hard if a non-tank takes the aggro

I think only the 2nd bug is really a bug. 1st bug is more of a skill issue. If you manage to dodge all red zones, it should not do 8k dmg. That's just unreasonable, but that's what is happening. If you are unable to dodge, you deserve the death anyways. I think the same bug is at play at the final Grrrr boss. I think it's meant to only do the cast debuff on its whirlwind attack, because I get this debuff when it does its whirlwind. That attack is a red circle attack as well, but it seems to quite often hit me, despite me dodging it perfectly. This dungeon is just bugged like crazy. I.e. the mobs and boss between spider and grrr is easier than the monkeys, it's ridiculous how unbalanced this dungeon is. (On hard mode, let me emphasize that, since I have no experience on other tiers)

Poison should be a damage over time debuff, right now it is a second and bigger hit when inflicted combined with the expected damage over time.
Does that mean that you can't survive poison hits with this bug, no you can still survive if you're tanky enough, but it's not supposed to deal this much damage, hence it is a bug
