reconnect with the community. I think it's nice when a GM for the German server Burudeng, for example Piccolo, comes into the voice channel once a week or once a month to talk to people about what can be improved and so on so that contact with people is strengthened. i think a lot of people are unhappy at the moment and need someone to relate to. 30-40 min in the voice channel and talk to the people.

Please ignore this dislike Button the people over me hate me because i have better gear in the game

Picolo has no idea about this game lol.
dont be rude.
he is learning.
he even knows how to use the new knight skill (power stomp) now
Donnt spek bad about Piccolo. Fish head
I did not say anything bad. I said facts.
you really named the most irrelevant one out of all of them….
but I get your point so Upvote :3
The point of this post is to ask for a closer connection with players, not to bash a specific GM. So keep it on topic otherwise this thread is useless.
Piccolo is the only German gm. He's like Angela Merkel at first he's hated but when he's gone they all wish him back. Many on Burudeng are not smart and don't speak English so Piccolo would be best for that. In addition, Piccolo is a legend
I think, he needs to Talk about the new knight Skill with him
or about the steuerung
But this shouldn't be a suggestion at all. The people that run this game have always the same issue having 0 communication with the community.
Well this thread is talking about the people that are more discord facing I guess. Getting someone internal from gala to hop in a voice chat or be active in this discord is probably slim if im going to be honest. We at least have active GMs (Piccolo/Ket) and some of the developers that are active in the discord when they have time. Getting them into voice chat depends on their schedules as well since if they’re online they’re likely working on something. I think it’s ok to have a suggestion like this to see if there’s interest from the other side, and by the other side i mean the people that are active in the discord
I wouldn't be opposed to chatting with the community, but Discord voice chat is not really possible to moderate effectively. Something like a live Q&A on a streaming platform would probably be more realistic
could probably utilize the discord stages feature
Sure, maybe some of our resident Discord experts could help us set something up
I think the main purpose is to have discussions (Live) between the dev team and the players such as what is the update problem. What is the problem at work? Many things are easier to understand than doing Q&A so that players can ask Questions I know the developer team is busy but this kind of talking makes the community strong ( you can do one time for a month )
no offense meant but i think the mods/gms should be more active ingame instead of on discord. After all, I play flyff and not discord. 1-2 mods for tickets are enough 80% are only tickets for bots.
yes, you + piccolo bi-weekly live Q&A pls
and if its possible then a gala decision maker as third guy. really would like to see how some of these guys are 😂
I dont like Tornado, but i still like the suggestion
well no, 1 - 2 is definitely not enough and it's not only bot reports we deal with
but active in-game how?
True. Because it feels like you dont deal with the bot reports at all
are you reporting them in-game through the report function or reporting them via modmail? with modmail they'll get dealt with quicker, we also do sweeps on servers when we can but that doesn't / shouldn't replace an actual anti-botting system. We just do what we can in the meantime.
About 2-3 mods or more are actively playing on the totemia server. On burudeng only one is actively gambling and that with a secret character. A mod/gm who actively gambles and has no idea who organizes events like boss spwan or something. A gm who is in contact with the devs and actively participates in the game is better able to make suggestions
well we do have active mods that are playing the game across all regions, are you saying that burudeng specifically needs an additional mod that's more public facing? With the recent additions to the mod team we actually have a much wider range of feedback too since they are all active players as well. For the suggestions those are taken from this discord, unless im not understanding what you mean by that? Or maybe you mean like suggestions on how to improve something without needing to ask the players
Yes, there were newcomers but none from the burudeng server. I don't know how active the mods /gm are on other servers, but on burudeng you might see a mod once a week for 30 minutes. You would have taken a mod on each server that would have been better. this is also one of the reasons why we don't have good communication with the gm/mods/devs. Mods/gms should pass on suggestions, but if nobody is active in the game and nobody is in the voice chat with whom you can talk about it, it's just difficult.

In terms of like playing on their normal characters fairly active, for mod characters outside of like handling reports / bots you probably won't see us much but if the ask is to have more presence on our mod characters somewhere in-game then we can ask about that. There were times months ago where would chill at the arena (I think even some of the devs still do this) which was fun imo.

Maybe @hidden isle can speak on this part, there are german mods/CMs but I think maybe 1 or 2 of them play on burudeng I am not entirely sure

Well again, we take suggestions from this suggestion forum. I think they are processed in the order they come in. Some need a little more planning than others and more clarification which is why sometimes they'll sit for a bit but it's better this way I think. In the past we had a different system but it didn't work out well (not organized, often things were repeated, got lost in the chaos etc). This way is more organized and way more transparent since there is back and forth between gms/devs and it's visible to everyone
