#No one was awarded the items in loot distribution

Summary: We run the dungeon with 6 mates. At the end of the boss, the loot window appear and some of us decline and some of us clicked on *NEED". But no one was awarded the item and no one was able to loot them from the ground. It was a Thorn D and a Fire D card.
Server: Genese
Character: Aiduk / Shou / Oslow
Position: Envy depth boss
Visual poof: Attached pics
Expected result: someone is awarded and he can pick up the item
Acutal result: we lost the cards as noone was able to retrieve them on the grouond.

Additional comments : we can also note that the party loot distribution was normal. In some dungeon, the look distribution type overwrite the loot distribution. (dont know if it is a feature or a bug)

@supple dawn you closed my bug report but it is different - it's not about loot being lost, but rather about loot distribution being dictated by party settings

Same thing happened to us yesterday (for the first time) - no-one relogged or DC'd during the run. Everything was 'normal' save for this looting issue catshrugg

It’s not always a DC. For my group, it happened because people left the dungeon before hitting need/pass (maybe) or before rolling was complete (definitely left early).

I stood there, burning prem, spamming Pick up item, just for it to despawn on me. I was also the only one to click “Need” so it should’ve easily been mine.

I think in my instance, one person dced and reconnected and all 8 of us were there trying to pick it up until it despawned
Edit- out party is always set to manual distribution

I don't think you understand. the item was meant to be awarded to a specific person as dictated by the loot distribution system, but instead it was awarded according to the party setting.
now think about what you said and answer this: why should the loot distribution system even exist if it is overridden by party settings? why ask for people to vote for the item if in the end the votes are not relevant anyway?
