Never used the media player
I assume you have to download the video itself and put it if its "local media"
Lookups on mobile is always gonna be clunky, I wouldnt try doing it lol
they are locked to mobile iirc
install at least this one https://github.com/yomidevs/jmdict-yomitan?tab=readme-ov-file#jmdict-for-yomitan
If that is so, then prob a browser alternative is better
if you know a video focused workflow for mobile feel free to share
i dont do lookups on videos at all
for reading i just use firefox and yomi
I mean I use kiwi (ik alternatives exist and no longer supported), + the usual setup
Tho obv now I only freeflow videos without subs
ah i didnt even register you could asb on kiwi lol

okay @oak flower
I didnt like firefox cuz no jpdbreader, havent tested edge canary
i still use kiwi but i have firefox installed and setup as "a back up"
install firefox if you dont hsve it yet
We're can try yomitan + asb setup
no
no
keep the post
so ee dont flood other channels
You can use hianime or other anime streaming website
If you dont have access to internet, you'll have to torrent them, I think there is a way on mobile but idk. I would be doing it on pc anyways
(Torrented anime are also pretty big storage wise)
yeah literally just install bittorrent in playstore and use nyaa.si
its exactly the same
go to https://nyaa.si/ and search for whatever show you're trying to watch
then click the magnet link (it will automatically open in bittorent
when you pick a file to download the higher the green number the better
it is
Ctrl shift arrow keys
And theres shift or ctrl arrow keys alone to skip to the next line
.
