The screenshot above is a pic my friend sent who doesn't have jp ime/locale installed, the screenshot below is mine.

I like the font of the top one more and my computer used to have that too until suddenly after a restart it changed (i'm assuming after i installed jp ime/locale?); is there any way to get that font again? or like change font for windows?

i've googled around and it seems that there's no "default global font" for windows but idk how it actually works so here i am

the first font is chinese, the second is japanese

you want the japanese one
