Hi, I was just wondering if it’s necessary for me to look up words while immersing, because I normally like immersing more on my iPad, and on Netflix. I do have 10ten on it, which is like yomitan for safari, but I can’t watch Netflix on my browser, so I’ve been watching Netflix completely free flow, without looking a single word (sometimes I try to look up a word or two in safari but can’t really copy and paste lol) Can someone tell me if this is ok or if I should stop doing this.
#Is it ok if I don’t look up words while immersing?

I'm a little confused. Do you not have access to a pc at all? Why can't you watch Netflix in your browser?
I do have access to a pc, is just that I’m way more comfortable immersing on my iPad
Gotcha. There's nothing wrong with what you're doing.
But I would highly recommend setting aside some time to be on your pc and do some intensive immersion with asbplayer where you're doing lookups and trying to understand things.
It's important to do both freeflow and intensive because they serve different purposes. Doing freeflow only means you're going to progress a lot slower and eventually stall out because the immersion is not comprehensible enough.
How do I do intensive, do I just look up every word, or how does it work? I have kind of an idea of how it works but I don’t really know how to do it
It really depends on your tolerance. Starting out, I would just go by what the roadmap says in the how to intensively immerse section and you'll figure out what you personally like to do as you go.

Intensive immersion is a great way to build up your reading ability and vocabulary. When first getting started, books and blogs will be too difficult to read.
Sorry but, how long should I do this for? I’ve been learning Japanese for about a month and a half 😓
I'd do it with 1 anime episode per day. Doing intensive, it may take an hour or more to get through an episode that's 20 minutes but that's normal and expected.
So if i dont understand a sentence at all do i just look up everything?
You can. It depends on you. But if that sounds tedious, you don't have to. Instead, just look up words that you notice repeating a lot. If a word is being repeated, it means it's likely important. If it's important, it will tell you a lot about what's going on. So if you look it up, you'll unlock a lot of comprehension just from 1 word.
Can I also do intensive on my iPad with Animelon and 10ten extension?
