#Repeat Image From Previous Card

Been mining a lot of words from manga recently, and as such have been adding screenshots of the manga panels to my Anki flashcards using ShareX, set up in the method outlined here: https://xelieu.github.io/jp-lazy-guide/setupShareX/

What I would like to do is have a hotkey that essentially just repeats the image/tagging from the previously made flashcard for the next flashcard, so that if I mine multiple words from the same page I don't have to take multiple screenshots. E.g. Find word1 to mine, mine it, use ctrl+shift+alt+c/x to update the card with the image/tags, then mine word2, use some new hotkey to update the card with the same image/tags. Does anyone have any tips on how to set this up?

Hmm, when I deal with this it's usually pretty simple if i'm understanding correctly.

  • You have one screenshot.
  • You just found one one you want to mine.
  • You ocr the sentence.
  • You take a screenshot of the page (i usually only do by panel, so there's less things going on in the card)
  • You make the card with yomitan, with the screenshot in the clipboard so it gets added to yomitan via the {{clipboard}} field thing.
    Part 2
  • You find another word from a different section but want to use the same screenshot
  • You ocr the new sentence
  • You use Win Key + V on windows to pull up the clipboard history, select the screenshot, so now it's once again in your clipboard
-Now you send the clipboard via yojmitan again, and it should just use the same screenshot hash

This doesn't account for tagging. For tagging, I only use the the Title of the webpage using Renji's texthooker page https://github.com/Renji-XD/texthooker-ui
I set up profiles for things I want to tag and switch between them as I'm reading.

I only tag 漫画 as 漫画 since I read so many series it'd be too tedious even for a stat tracking otaku such as myself
