jp-mining note word definition blank

I installed the jp-mining-note on my laptop since I'm away from my home setup but somehow can't seem to get the defition to pop up when I create new cards using yomitan. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

check your handlebars in yomitan, the {{word}} things

i copy pasted them from the aquafina guide

so im not really sure what coudl be wrong with the handlebars

if it doesnt work try uninstalling and reinstalling, using arbyste's (aquafina but up-to-date) guide or https://xelieu.github.io/jp-lazy-guide/setupYomitanOnPC/
