#Paid service recommendations?

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone knows a good resource that costs money but is worth the cost for learning japanese. I've been considering paying for a paid "graded reader" service - dunno which one yet - but I thought I'd ask here if anyone has something that they think would help.

Kinds of resources I am thinking of:

  • Graded reading or reading in general
  • Bunpro or similar
  • Any other resource that provides a bit more of an integrated, user-friendly immersion experience at the cost of, well, money.
  • Any other thing I could be spending money on to get better at japanese

I didn't use it but Satori Reader does look like one of the best things to spend money on as a beginner. Pretty quickly it becomes better to spend money on content and maybe coaching. Then a bit later, tutoring and some content creators have fanclub discord servers that I've heard really good things about.
I can't recommend Bunpro and similar. It's a bad way to learn textbooky grammar - which isn't even helpful until you're interested in passing tests or polishing your writing.

I second the recommendation for Satori Reader. Bunpro is not worth paying for except for the use cases Glass mentioned. You can use Bunpro for grammar lookups for free during your immersion, which is 100x more useful than paying to grind their silly SRS

Thanks, I might give Satori a shot. I do plan on tutoring at some point, when I have a bit more skill and money

@digital solar what’s the best workflow for satori reader? I had a trial but found I was taking way too long to read the pages so I just stopped. I also have been only studying Japanese for 4 months
