So I signed for amazon prime because there are all pokémon episodes with subs, but then I realised Language Reactor doesn't support it lol
Since that service is so popular I genuinely was already expecting Language Reactor to have support for it.
Well, I can just cancel once I reach the 30-day free trial but until there I'm looking for an alternative extension, does anyone know?
#Is there a Language Reactor for amazon prime?

I think asbplayer works with amazon prime? I'm not sure what the differences between asbplayer and language reactor are though, so it might not be a perfect replacement
Afaik, Amazon Prime is the only place asbplayer doesn't work.
iirc asbplayer works with amazon prime, but the timing can sometimes be off
Obligatory @carmine needle ping 👀
from my testing it works
the latest (unreleased) version also can detect subs on amazon prime
but as mikumino mentioned the timing is off when prime plays ads
I've just tried installing the extension and it doesn't seems to work, how do I make it work with amazon prime?
what is your goal with the extension?
can you describbe what your'e actually trying to do?
I was looking for one that works like Language Reactor, in which the subtitles are selectable to work with yomichan and I can quickly use hotkeys to go to the previous/next sub as well as repeat the last one.
With the latest released version you need to drag in your own subtitle files
Try reading the readme there's a lot of info there
I see, so it is not just play and there you go, you have to manually download subs somewhere, too complicated for me
I supposed that's the closest alternative to Language Reactor, right?
Doing more research I could only find this one, it's kinda clunky and not as feature-rich compared to Language Reactor but I can get used to it for now.
