The HAVN BF360 Case, an airflow dream? 180mm carbon fiber fans should definitely help with achieving that!
Check out this cool DOOM The Dark Ages HAVN HS 420 limited edition case.
Looks like it would be interesting for watercooling aswell
Do a little modding or sumth and fit 200's in there with a dual 200 rad
BF360, HS 420 or both?
BF360
I actually liked the case
- Should fit dual 360 setup on the front and back
But more realistically a 360 in front.
So you can technically keep the 2x 180mm on top, allowing for more cleaner airflow w/ less noise
You use 3x 120 in front to maximize the cooling by adding thickness and surface area
If the case is cheap im buying it.
Oh.
Apparently you can't fit a radiator in front since it has a airflow channeling path on the bottom, which means the only way to do so is to exhaust from the top
But it would ruin the concept
The black one has an AIO mounted on top
I can work with this.
Imma yap about the custom loop part
So what I was thinking is to remove the rear fan so we have more space for the fittings, run it through to the CPU, then the usual fancy RAM blocks I am proposing, then run it back to the radiator. Pump wise we can use the CPU block thing (popular with sff people) and QD setting w/ external res/pump for filling.
We could put the pump/res on where the rear case fan could be, but it would create some unneccesary tube work and harder to bleed.
Yeah I can work with this
Technically we can fit those boxed reservoirs with pump mount BUT it would restrict airflow and made the overall side look busy, which is something we wouldn't want to happen.
did they say why carbon fiber? seems needlessly expensive
my bad, glass fber!
