Wow! I queued up with 3 randoms with Mews and they pulled through!

Here's a consistent strategy:

Attackers:
• (Turns 1-3) Struggle Bug
• (Turns 4-6) Sword Dance (Terastallize whenever you can)
• Turn 7 until stat reset - Leech Life
• After Mewtwo's stat resets, attackers do Struggle Bug for 3 turns
• After your stats reset, do 3 Sword Dances, then continue Leech Life

Supporters:
• Turn 1 - Light screen
• Turn 2 - Defense cheer
• Struggle Bug (Terastallize), then Life Dew
• Monitor others' health and Life Dew as necessary, but continue to Struggle Bug, as Mewtwo will use Calm Mind.
• Right before shield breaks, use Misty terrain to prevent Mewtwo from using Rest and prevents being frozen by ice beam
• Reapply Light screen
• Reapply Misty Terrain if Mewtwo starts spamming Ice Beam
• Continue using Struggle Bug and Life Dew
• Use Light screen, Attack cheer and Life Dew to keep allies health up

generally, and then there are move builds online that you would switch to for support/attack. support focuses on keeping the buff/debuff and setting terrain. attackers buff self and hit hard
