A bit late, but actually there's a way to have two people catch it. Whoever found it saves (it's their spawn), the other one catches it and leaves the UC. Finder restarts game and will still have the shiny in front of them. I've done this several times already, effectively duplicating shiny Scarlet Paradox mons

Also, only the person who has Scarlet can actually hunt for it. If you have Violet, it will never spawn for you. Better to stay a bit away so as not to clutter up the spawn for the one who's actually hunting it
