Because the number in exp bar is rounded. It means it doesn't show the exact number to the dot. It only shows millions. So from the point you reached 1.000B it would stay like that until you earned 1M exp more, only then it would turn to 1.001B
Does that make sense?

- I don't consider the extra million I got for the one billion xp. I think it fits well there.
- I don't think there should be more. Just as I reached it, the one billion xp suddenly changed to not getting any and then I got one million xp. Not again now, but I'll collect to see if I can get it.

Yes, its a rounded number. So it only depends if you think you got more than 1M exp. If yes, and the number didn't update correctly, it would be a bug of sorts, yes.
