I am feeling traditional mmo pains as a healer. Running dungeons with the randoms and I try to make sure the tank is topped off on health, and spot healing the dps when he is doing his job well. But the DPS keep taking fury attacks instead of blocking them and drop to critical if not completely die so I have to heal them instead of the tank, then the tank dies and next we all die. I get blamed because I didn't "heal enough" mother in christ I practically stopped attacking with how much ya'll made me run around healing your dumb asses. I simply told the one guy "You really going to try and blame me for this?"

"Positioning" also seems to be a complete mystery to a lot of groups. So many people just pulling agro at random and then running in circles pulling them out of AoEs and breaking any CC anyone tries to use to control things
It would be nice if you could actually easily check roles in dungeon though without having to squint at the weapon icons and assume "they're PROBABLY the tank..."

the party leader can assign a special symbol next to their names on the list to the left. I had one party assign a shield symbol to the tank, a sword to a dps and a star to the healer.

To be fair it doesn't help most tanks reactions to agro in pugs has been to keep running forward while the three ranged mobs standing slightly to the side plink all the ranged healers/DPS to death repeatedly

I feel like the lack of a death penalty outside of the boss lockout and mobs not actually needing to be killed to progress in many cases has lead to some.... unfortunate...pug behavior

Temple of slaughter has a skip to the second boss where the tank aggros every mob and the rest of the team kills the boss without them

Yeah see in my experience, the way that goes is the tank engages the boss and then ignores everything, leading to the entire group trying to DPS race this boss before the train of like two-three mobs their AoEs have tagged that the tank ignored kill them again
I don't know if queues are server specific. This was all on Whisperion

I usually ignore smaller mobs cause I thought those are easier to handle, so the party can kill them while I keep the actual threat on me

Literally just queuing dps for random dungeons. 80% of them either people just ignore mechanics and we grind against the boss until people drop and it's a wash or there's two people backseating from the getgo who rage out and drop if it's not going fast enough.
Literally just queued twice, first one hit the boss, wiped once, and the tank and healer instantly dropped and we couldn't get the party rebuilt.
Second one we cleared, but only after blocking two people who were shitting on the rest of the party the entire run

I had someone rage quit the EVENT DUNGEON of all things, because it wasn't going fast enough. Told everyone to "f off and watch a video" and then dropped. It was literally a normal run with the typical skips that we ended up clearing in record time after he left. Community RNG has not provided me a favorable opinion on this game so far
Edit: third run clutched it out, but not sure if "me and the one other person that actually stayed formed a whole new party" counts as a success.

If you queue to join a random coop dungeon (essentially fill an open spot in a party), you have a chance at a salvation essence. One salvation gets you an epic tier armor or accessory. Two salvations gets you an epic tier weapon.
