I picked druid simply because it's the only way I can stomach how awful the classic experience is in retrospect

Compared to other MMOs at the time, vanilla WoW was casual af, but also just super polished and fun. Compared to the amount of time I have these days though It's the main reason I'm doing SoD tbh, the way they're splitting content up into level capped brackets that move out over time.

I might even make alts for this once. Need to make an undead warlock for tankmaxxing

BFD raid is fun, the 4th boss is a skill check. After him you can get warlock tanking. Look forward to running with everyone.

Nothing seemed really busted just have to be aware of what's happening and be geared. ALOT of AoEs

Shammy tanks are top right now because they can cleave tank

If your a shadow damage dealer you will be shafted in some fights due to immunities.

Tank swapping in the raid isn't hard usually get sunder stacks and swap out. Most of the mechanics that I seen are move out the way skill issues and not that big of an issue. guh my heart sinks I didn't get tank. (but kinda expected since people are still learning)

Id say if you can at least attempt the raid for attempts at getting gear.

Killing the first boss gives things and the 3rd boss has a quest for stuff as well.

as a side note if you guys are having a hard time on kelris instead of shadow protection potions maybe consider getting free action potions

during phase 2 when hes uninterruptable a free action potion makes you IMMUNE to shadow chains damage for 30 seconds

since shadow chains is considered a movement impairing effect

also from what ive seen free action pots are a bit cheaper than shadow protection potions

If I had to say right now a crafting skill for your main armor, if your gunna raid and a gathering skill. (I'm doing tailoring + mining for cash if someone wanted I'll sell for cheaper regardless of my feelings) but alchemy is big for pots, enchanting for the obvious good for early casters for wand but unneeded now with everyone in "end game", engineering is good for hunters bullets/guns, bombs for tanking or what have you a few very endgame gear (but few and far between) and goggles (personally I think it's a copout but each their own, the raid crafting gears is freaking HUGE gains and I'm sure more will be in the future https://www.wowhead.com/classic/guide/season-of-discovery/profession-crafted-gear-items ), blacksmith can help with weapons and armor n shields that are BOP for shammys and warriors (rogues too if tanking), LW gives armor kits n armor (some reaaaaalllyyy good stuff), tailoring is basically goated for end game clothies but only helps so much before getting solid gear (and usually can be shared), other than that gathering is money makers or help out guildies (but i really haven't seen anyone do so)

TLDR do some research see what fits your theme, don't just invest what is good NOW
