#Minecraft cursor not recentering (Wayland issue)

I updated my distro (popos) to the most recent version, which also switched it from x11 to wayland. Now, when I press esc or open my inventory my cursor isnt reset to the center of the screen, which makes it incredibly difficult to do anything fast in my inventory. This is a common issue on Wayland as I believe its done intentionally for security reasons (that I dont understand cause im not im not a mega linux nerd, I just use it), but I have not found any fixes online.

can anyone help please?

#

lwjgl-ci's glfw fork has fixes for wayland

#

but you need to compile it

#

but if you're on cheatbreaker, its not using glfw anyways so it doesnt matter

should fix your nmouse issues

meager kettle
#

like why do u tghink that tho im just curious what im actually installing before i just do it

distant helm
#

it just fixes a bug with the program wanting to move your mouse for you
the CI patch is them trying to build the natives using GitHub
IME is an LWJGL-specific patch

#

people who ive spoken to with mouse related issues on linux have installed this program and it fixed their problems

#

theres really no harm in trying

meager kettle
#

the problem tho is that my cursor doesnt reset back to the center of my screen tho in mc so if anythign the problem is the opposite i woudl think

it has three patches
Wayland: Implement support for glfwSetCursorPos
https://github.com/glfw/glfw/commit/4ee1d033fe637b9432b765cb1dddb6928ad96f18.patch

LWJGL IME support
https://github.com/glfw/glfw/commit/44342517bd0813072dea232da2d89c439771514d.patch
(Input Method Editor/Engine)

LWJGL CI configuration
https://github.com/glfw/glfw/commit/a6f48b933973e1beedd0be67c85effa2293cc63f.patch
(only GitHub actions)
which is actually not entire true, they ran a code formatter in the CI patch so it's inflated
(maybe that helps)
