crisp coral
#

yes same disk

crisp coral
#

and no i dont want to reinstall ubuntu

#

and I have 1 usb

cyan shell
crisp coral
#

yes

#

using it rn

cyan shell
#

ah ok

crisp coral
#

lol indian tech support

#

that name xd

cyan shell
#

then just go to gparted and shrink the /home volume and leave however much you want for your windows install as unallocated space

cyan shell
crisp coral
#

ok lemme do that

#

I CANT REZIZE

#

wtf

cyan shell
#

what

crisp coral
#

i cant click on rezize

cyan shell
#

send ss

crisp coral
#

k

cyan shell
#

oh you only have a 128 gb drive

#

i dont recommend you dual boot with that

#

i dont even think you can

crisp coral
#

ive done it before

#

and it was alright

#

but that was a while ago

#

and i dont need alot from windows

#

just like 2 programs

#

idk

cyan shell
#

you set the new size lower than the used size of that partition

#

thats why it didnt let you resize

#

set the new size to 50 gb

#

that will leave you with 60 gb for windows

crisp coral
#

ok

#

ill do 38

#

still cant

#

i cant click on the rezize

cyan shell
#

38 might still be too low

crisp coral
#

did

cyan shell
#

worked?

crisp coral
#

no

cyan shell
#

damn

crisp coral
#

i must type it in

#

the new size box?

cyan shell
#

yes

crisp coral
#

ok

prime kernel
#

The drive youre resizing cannot be mounted

#

Use a live session to do it

#

Backup data

crisp coral
#

oh yeah ur right

crisp coral
cyan shell
crisp coral
#

using gparted

crisp coral
#

using gparted?

cyan shell
#

That will automatically leave the rest of the space as unallocated

crisp coral
#

I want to download atlas os

cyan shell
crisp coral
cyan shell
#

Not the app

cyan shell
crisp coral
#

yes booting from usb

cyan shell
#

Yep

crisp coral
#

Ok I will do that tommorow

#

SO I must boot from usb

cyan shell
#

👍🏾

crisp coral
#

go to gparted

#

then rezize to 50g

#

and that 50g will be for ubuntu

#

and 30g for windows

#

I just wanna try atlas os

cyan shell
#

110-50 = 60

crisp coral
#

36g to be exact

cyan shell
crisp coral
#

so 70 - 30 = 40

#

lol

cyan shell
#

The 36 gb of the Ubuntu installation is going to be contained within that 50 gh partition

crisp coral
#

w

#

lol

cyan shell
#

And the rest will be unallocated

#

Understood?

crisp coral
#

idk

#

prob

#

so if i allocate 50 g to ubuntu

#

60 will be for windows

#

?

cyan shell
#

You have 60 left yes

#

For windows

crisp coral
#

i dont want 60 tho

#

I want 30 for windows

#

since im barely gonna use it

cyan shell
#

Windows itself takes about 30 im p sure

crisp coral
#

I gues s80 g

#

yes 80g is right

#

so 30 for windows

cyan shell
#

Nah u need 60 or else windows wont work

crisp coral
#

its lightwieght asf

cyan shell
crisp coral
#

Ohh yeah

#

ur right

#

forgot

#

im dumb

cyan shell
#

Lol

crisp coral
#

lol

#

but i will be using the stock windows for like an hour 💀

cyan shell
#

Did you delete tiny11?

crisp coral
#

and will it overide my ubuntu

#

the 1 im using

crisp coral
cyan shell
#

Yeah so basically your tiny11 installation doesnt exist but your boot manager thinks it does because you didnt delete its efi partition

If you select it nothing will happen
