why not
did you check for encoding lag in the end>
You can find a list of all common encoding lag problems @ #898176183710130176
okay ill make a vid like 10 seconds
whar
impossible
no you add stats dock and begin recording your gameplay like usually
i used to think i was smart
you need to have actual gameplay
so that you can see real stats
look for frames missed due to encoding lag field
i think we checked those in the latest post
Triple check these settings:
Set preset to Max Performance if you're recording in high FPS
- dont have that option
Only use one audio track when recording high FPS (you can lower settings to minimum if you do not use audio). This can also cause Stopping recording.. to hang forever
-I only have my mic and what I use to capture in game audio
In the Video tab make sure Base (Canvas) Resolution is the same as Output (Scaled) Resolution, if for any reason you need to do some scaling while recording, you can do it later.
-I dont have the scaling option as my resolution matches
On recent NVIDIA GPU it is worth testing putting Profile to Baseline (greatly increased filesize but better encoding performance)
-I will try.
Make sure color format is NV12 in the Advanced | 🛠️ tab
-I have it.
:iconMessageChecked: You should always:
Monitor it with the Stats dock, learn more about it in Layout | 🔲
Run OBS as admin to let OBS set higher GPU priority, learn how to do it in Layout | 🔲
-Question, should I set high gpu priority?
Record on an SSD because high fps records are bitrate hungry
Never use Movies & TV to play back your videos, consider MPV
You can try:
Disabling Preview (right click preview -> untick Enable Preview, consider setting up your Hotkeys | 🎹 )
Try changing Window's game mode (it may increase/decrease stability depending on hadware and Windows build)
Turning on Smooth FPS in Minecraft (lowers FPS a bit but halves Minecraft's GPU utilization) (Options->Video Settings->Performance->Smooth FPS: ON)
-turned off
i tried to answer some
okay i will play a game of bedwars while recording
i will try 240 fps
obs settings
z1xus i think i lost the blur config that you gave me before
i tried to experiment and i think i changed it
looking good
what about the renders
this one
wdym?
oh
i forgot to put obs as admin
is that bad
should be alright
have your renders changed
what renders
the videos you process with blur
yea i changed it
to what you gave me
do i remux the video
to mp4
or keep it at mkv
i think there will be no difference
umm yea
- it doesn't look smooth
- when I move the camera theres like barely any blur
oh well
@merry bay sorry to ping but do you have any solution with this exact problem where theres barely any blur like this?
as i mentioned earlier, you can play around with your weighting, but we discovered that equal causes even more ghost frames for you
for me i always have them no matter what blur weighting!
how do i fix this man
kinda frustrating 😔
one more time
you are recording 360 fps
and getting no encoding lag
oh
try interpolating to 2160 or 1440 instead of 2400
try using deduplicate: true
videos here 1213596906228293683
yeah but when recording 360 do not interpolate to 2400, because its not dividable
okay
oh yea
i missed some settings
smooth fps
is p1 the slowest in obs?
or the fastest
because 😔
okay im back from school
@merry bay where can I find the multipass mode so I can change it to single pass whatever that is
and also a question, do I change this to anything else?
ohhh
oh yea i changed it to single pass
still ghost frames
the video looks laggy also
2400 interpolated fps and 240 fps recorded
did everything the obs encoding lag fix channel told me
is there anything else that I can possibly do?
nah its all good
yes, back to default
low latency is lower latency but slower
you'll be able to record higher fps with high quality tuning
I don’t see it in the videos I see tho :/
Send us your video
Not screenshots
An actual video
okay ill do it soon
you want like a gameplay or just like me running around and just hitting with a sword
The stuff youre gonna upload
i think its going to be too long
like a small clip fromk there\
i can send u like 30 seconds
its just a test video im not going to record it yet tho
the video appears darker than the original video, and it looks kind of laggy and not motion-blurry.
send config
rq
looks like high blur amount

this should fix it @vapid hornet
okay lemme try
well yea 0.9 is not a lot
it looks good imo, i use it for 60 and i use 0.7 for 30
I see, I render at high fps
what are you uploading to? i not aware of any platform that supports framerates over 60.
nice
use 709 partial input
in what
in whatever's put into blur
couleur said to use nv12
nv12 is good, that's the pixel format
i'm talking about colours
what's the media player
advanced
make it brighter
does smootihe have this too
