#smoothie not smoothie ing
58 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
It's been working with previous "recipes" but with this config it didn't work and just did what I explained above
send a video of the issue happening
there’s no need for a video
not all the configs in there are for smoothie, so you might have to adjust them
you can use smoothie with the launch.cmd file and it won’t close on error
why
because it’s erroring and then closing
they can just launch it with the cmd file and screenshot
um, you can go through the video frame by frame to catch the error
so that kind of invalidates your point
additionally provides a clear context of what the user is doing
Alr
so, does that seem more reasonable to you than a screenshot?
a video clearly shows what the user is doing to trigger xyz issue
I'll do it later
seems like a config problem based on the context
either way we need to get the reason
and 2 ways are using launch.cmd or a video
which we do not have
so we can only assume which is literally the worse thing possible
Probably is cus other configs have worked
Unless it's a huge coincidence
can you send a video of the issue happening
they use a new recipe from HOF, now when they sendto smoothie, it crashes
use your common sense please
next time i will recommend people to use launch.cmd instead
doesn't a video provide more clarification?
what i have inferred:
"I copied some renders from ⭐|render-hall-of-fame but when I send a clip to smoothie now, ctt or whatever it is that shows whilst rendering appears for about 0.2 seconds then disappears and nothing has happened"
- grabbed some configs from this channel
- smoothie crashes when a clip is sent
very vague
don't know what config is causing
or what the error message is
Since I'm busy yall could test it for urselves if u rlly want
Ofc u don't have to ur choice
what config is causing it
But I'll send the config if u want
that would be helpful

did you make sure these paths exist on your system?
?
sorry but this is my way of handling/helping them, if you don't like it that's entirely fine.
I am just trying to help them solve this issue that's all.
did you drop the config assuming it will just work
Probably
i think this is the issue:
you have artifact masking enabled and smoothie wants to find a usable mask.
but that mask file doesn't exist that's why its crashing

you want to download this
Ah probably
file name: D:\smoothie-rs-bin-windows\valmask.png and have this value point to that mask
Yh
Makes sense
Someone told me about masks before so I'll have a look and test around
tell me if that fixes the issue
Will try it later tysm
np 👍
is there a way to sendto and have it not close after crash
have a batch file that passes multiple args to sm and then calls pause
