. The build itself took me 3 hours. Once we completed the build:

anyways, after the build we were getting no post so i went full troubleshoot mode and threw another gpu in and it booted so we assume the card we ordered originally ( the 6800xt ) was dead on arrival. We initiated a refund from the seller. We drove down to best buy and bought a 4070 and came back threw it in and booted right up. I installed windows. Everything was fine until after updating chipset and display drivers the pc went ballistic and was unusably laggy and kept crashing to black screen especially during graphically intense scenerios it seems. I thought it warranted a reinstall of windows so i did that and after updating display drivers again it did the same thing, went crazy. So, then i ran DDU and its totatlly fine with the default drivers. I also tried other nvidia drivers versions to no avail. The pc is unusable currently, we returned the 4070 thinking that may be the issue and we are getting another card today. I'm not sure what to do, for some reason I dont think its the card, no way we get two bad cards in a row. Anyway, hope someone may have a suggestion other than just swapping parts back and forth we dont have spare pc parts for testing or this would be easy... Thanks in advance.
