I never had any problems with obs before recording at 360 fps and then I changed something. That didnt work so I changed it back to what it was and now I cant record (It says my encoder is overloaded and it looks really low bitrate, it also kills my fps in game which is something it never did before) im running on a 6700xt 11900k 32 gb ram on linux

please let me know why this could have suddenly happened

I have not tried vulkan yet but I tried lowering all the settings and it still has encoding lag

#

its a little different than normal encoding lag though it just has really low bitrate

#

or looks like it does

#

its really strange could it be a driver problem or heating?

i downgraded obs and also installed it on my windows dual boot and i had the same problem both times

You should also try the obs flatpak
