I'm repasting my gpu and first i gotta remove the old thermal paste, but theres some residuals on some sort of pins. i tried using vinegar alcohol to clean it but theres still some

honestly i think it shouldn't matter since the actual chip surface will be producing heat

Isopropyl alcohol will remove it

Use a q-tip to rub it

thx, i removed most of it as much as i could

#

and then i repasted with Noctua NT-H1 on the gpu chip

then i partially removed the thermal pads to put a little bit of corsair TM30 thermal paste behind them and pushed the pads back to apply it

just works fine lol
