5. Replace "your_path" with the path you just copied

4. In the new window, decide how much space you want for the new partition. The size is in MB, so for example, if you want a 100GB partition, enter 102400 (since 1GB is approximately 1024MB).

5. Click Shrink. This will create an unallocated space equal to the size you specified.

6. Right-click on the unallocated space and select New Simple Volume.

7. Follow the wizard that pops up. You can leave most settings at their default, but when you get to the Format Partition section, make sure NTFS is selected as the file system and choose a name for your new partition.

8. Click Finish. You now have a new partition where you can backup your files.
