just send obs settings
click video properties
yes
go to details tab
can vlc show video details
thats what im trying to figure out, without making you need to install a new media player
idk
do u have ffmpeg?
ffprobe -v error -select_streams v:0 -show_entries stream=codec_name -of default=nokey=1:noprint_wrappers=1 input.mp4
type that in terminal but replace input with the file name
no in the terminal
you have a terminal
cmd
yeah but replace input.mp4 with whatever ur clip is
can you open the video with vlc and do control + i
its either: an issue with vegas, or: you not knowing how to use vegas
either could be true
can you send a full ss of the vegas window
so its probably an issue with the clip then
do you know what profile your video was recorded in? (high, main, or baseline)
can you export the video from vegas and send it here
yes
what happens if you disable resampling
ok ok, have you tried... extending the video length? you probably have i just wanna make sure
idk
just a few seconds
looks fine
can you export it?
you probably just forgot to change a setting
idk what versions of obs added what, so i wouldnt know
what
🔥
lmfao
wait for someone else ig
we dont close threads
no point
do you use fragmented mp4?
if so use normal mp4 it fixes the issue
in obs
in output settings
fragmented mp4 does do that to vegas
in obs
my mp3s be breakin like that
like they just be like
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
whenever i put em in vegas
like its just the highest pitch loudest sound ever
i like threw my headset off the first time it happened
use ffmpeg aac instead of ffmpeg opus in obs output settings to fix
