After using blur to render my footage, the blurred end result is darker/has more contrast than the original. I have not changed any settings that are related to contrast or brightness, and it just randomly started happening one day a while back. I have had a similar issue when rendering things in Sony Vegas Pro and Premiere Pro. Premiere seems to no longer have this issue, and I haven't used SVP in a while. My guess is that it is definitely the same reason that SVP makes my footage darker.
