@still garnet
just tell me how to install it
steps

https://github.com/f0e/blur/releases/latest/download/blur-installer.exe
click on this, open the file, follow the process with the defaults
make sure that you have ffmpeg installed
#🟩|ffmpeg
then open the blur application from the start menu
drag your file in
use the default config
ok where can I run the installation, I mean the place where it should be storeD
i want it in captures section
only default? can't I change the settings?
well anywhere its just an installer
no not only, but since this is probably the first time ure using it, u might as well use the defaults
ok
the config file will be in the folder your input video is in
IS ALL COMPONETS ESSENTIAL
no the ones marked optional arent needed
IS BOTH RIFE NEEDED?
nope
ok
theyre for advanced users or sum i have never needed to use them
after trying for 1 time can I change it?
@still garnet
it says finished installing
can I close it and run blur and see?
you can
yep :)
do I need to create an folder?
hmm make a folder in ur documents or something and then try it out
ok
copy the video into the folder
and then drag that video into the prompt
Is this right?
?
@still garnet
is this right?
the video I dragged and put there
but config-file ain't coming
@still garnet
hello?
oh hi
rename the file to something like abcd.mp4 once
and re launch blur
see if that works
does your file path have any non-english characters
really working
yea
i got
it
thanks supprt
ahhh that must be the problem
LOL
ou
use paths that english characters only
It took me 3 hrs to figure this out
thanks
cya
🙏
BRUH
why is this happening?
@still garnet
can you send me the
default config settings?
ok
send me deafult config settings
and when will it end
I mean when will it finish proccessing
check ur documents/blur folder itll have something like blur_config.cfg
thats the default config
it ain't there just send me
well depends on the duration of the clip and your hardware specs
e dont hav it u can check out #🔲|teknos-blur tho
is that the default?
I USED THIS AND GOT THIS
do you have a nvidia gpu?
no
make it 'no' then
where?
false
copy this in

SHOULD I TYPE INTEL?
well do you have an intel gpu?
wdym?
wdym?
relaunch blur
ok
did that work
no
whats it saying
should I put false in deduplicate?
same

uh do this
ok
u are editting blur-config.cfg right
yea
ay good
but when it will end
how much do u record in
it is going
itll take a while
60fps
ouh
well try it out
try what?
oh dont do that
ok
idk how that will work out
also there wont be any difference if u edit the config after starting the render
u should edit the config, before starting the blur
yea
hmm
slow bro
2500 frame
@still garnet Will I be able to view it only after it proccesses?
yeah
unless u have preview on but that will slow it down even more
yea it takes time
it is 10 min video
oh gosh
?
yea itll take some time
how much
maybe close other programs might speed it up idk
ok
well its going at a speed of 0.35x
yea I can't get any blur
I want more motion blur and fps
what can I do
@vast bridge can you help
get something better than an integrated gpu would be a good step
can't I change config settings?
I can't change in laptop
buy a better laptop
i doubt you can even render properly with an iGPU it's just a waste of your own time really
wdym?
uh
what do you mean?
yeah i know but i dunno how else to explain it
im just saying i doubt there's much you can do with an iGPU
can't I change config settings?
please bring thAT feature
it's not a feature it's just ur specs
get a better laptop
or build a pc
can't I'm broke I need motion blur so bad
@here
I record in 60 fps
I want more blur
What can I change my config settings to?
just stick with 60
Use in-game motion blur
how?
by enabling it
that's what how to enable it
what client do you use
?
I play sandstrike
the new
game
which doesn't have client yet
so that means I'm playing on browser
- just record in 60 fps
- don't bother using blur, it won't provide any benefit
NO I want BLUR
I recorded on 240 fps now
and posted a video on youtube
I can't see any blur
you need to use blur for frameblending
i want to ask the following:
- what are your obs video settings? (include the video tab and output tab)
- Current Blur Settings.
- System Specs.
Read #💻|video-and-renders and do some research
Look through the channels instead of asking us how to do everything step by step
I don't use OBS
I use Bandicam
- BLUR AMOUNT = 1.5
OUTPUT FPS = 170
- i3 11TH GEN, 16 GB RAM
256 GB SSD
INTEL UHD GRAPHICS CARD
ik
Unless you can use in-game motion blur, your recordings won’t be “blurry”
That's what I'm asking how to enable it
OBS lags
